The Challenge
Creative energy is infinite – it can’t run out. However, as creative people who are vessels for that energy, we can sometimes become blocked.
When we’re blocked, it can feel as though the well has run dry and that inspiration has abandoned us. When this happens, it’s is a sign that we need to initiate some form of movement. That might be movement of our perspective, movement of our thought processes, physical movement of the body, or a combination of all those things. Where we are moving towards is a place of clarity, flow and, paradoxically, regular moments of stillness.
Whether you’re somebody who’d like to be engaging more with your creativity in your spare time or a committed artist who’s looking to deepen into your practices and take your work into new dimensions, this could be a helpful option for you.

The Plan

What I am offering is not a formula, or a secret that will change your life overnight - I’m interested in helping you to overcome inertia and build momentum in the direction of realising your creative vision.
This shift occurs when we start looking at our creativity in a more positive and realistic way. When I say 'realistic', I'm not talking about the kind of ‘realistic’ that most of us are taught growing up, which is actually more like pessimistic. Because, realistically, you can do whatever you want with your creativity and your life, there are no limits and there are no rules ... However, knowing that this is true as an idea is a step away from actually embodying it and beginning to make your creative dream a reality.
So, my Creative Mentorship sessions are about taking that step - they're about movement and energy - specifically, getting your creativity in motion by freeing up your flow of creative energy. Once you’re in the flow, you will be amazed by the things that begin to happen.

Sessions take place online, via Zoom and will encompass a range of methods and approaches designed to help you overcome the challenges you face in your creative work. These will include intentional conversation, meditation and visualisation techniques including active meditation and energy shifting practices such as Qi Gong, practical exercises involving mark making or writing, discussion of texts and artworks to name a few.

If you're interested in Creative Mentorship but would like to have a chat with me before committing to a full session or block of sessions, schedule a free 20 minute call on my bookings page and we can discuss your situation and decide whether Creative Mentorship is for you.
